Jenma Films International was an Indian film production company founded in 1985 by Mahesh Kothare. The company was mainly produced Marathi and Hindi films.

History[edit]

Jenma Kothare originally known as Saroj, played a crucial role in nurturing her son Mahesh Kothare's cinematic journey. Alongside her husband, Amber Kothare, they shared a passion for the arts, initially connecting through experimental theater. Together, they established 'Artist Combine,' a theater production organization that became a platform for their creative endeavors. Nicknamed 'Jenma' by her aunt, she was a constant source of support for Mahesh, actively participating in his ventures both on and off the screen. From his early days as a child actor to his rise in the Hindi-Marathi film industry, Jenma was by his side, guiding and encouraging him every step of the way. Their collaborations produced beloved films like De Danadan, Dhadakebaaz, Zapatlela, and Majha Chakula under the banner of Jenma Films International, leaving an indelible mark on audiences.[2]
