Biography: Hon. Jennifer Abaho Muheesi is a highly respected and influential politician, serving as the Member of Parliament for Kazo District under the National Resistance Movement (NRM) in the eleventh Parliament of Uganda. Born and raised in Kiruhura District, she obtained her Uganda Certificate of Education from Kibubura Girls Senior Secondary School in 1989. In 1991, while joining her A-Level studies, Jennifer’s education took a pause as she embarked on a life-changing journey, getting married and embracing motherhood. During this time, she pursued multiple certificate courses and earned a diploma, which significantly contributed to her knowledge and skills. This continuous pursuit of education allowed her to sit for the mature age entry exams.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Makerere University Business School (MUBS), but before she worked with the ministry of tourism as a reservations officer, she worked with Uganda American Insurance Company and American International Group Mamus Uganda Limited. When she finished campus, Jennifer took up employment with Makerere University in the College of Health Sciences, in the School of Public Health, before she joined politics. Her educational qualifications have played a significant role in shaping her understanding of governance and public policy.
