Jennifer Theresa Fitzpatrick known in her career as Jenny Fitzpatrick[1] is a British actress most notable for her career in musical theatre. Fitzpatrick was born in Essex in 1983 and throughout her childhood appeared in various productions for local theatre companies, Youngstars and The Essex Group. At the age of 16, Fitzpatrick did a BTEC in performing arts at Barking College and then in 2001 went on to begin her training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating in 2004.
Theatre
After graduating from Mountview in 2004, Jenny began acting at the Regent’s Park Open Air theatre, performing in Henry IV Part 1, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Camelot.[citation needed]
Her first West End performance came in 2006 when Fitzpatrick was cast as Ronette in the production of Little Shop of Horrors alongside Sheridan Smith and directed by Matthew White. The production began at the Menier Chocolate Factory and then transferred to the Duke of York’s theatre and then the New Ambassador theatre, London.
In 2008, Fitzpatrick was cast as Billie in the UK tour of "Our House" directed by Matthew Warchus. She also played Angie at the 10 year anniversary concert at the Savoy theatre in 2012.
In 2009 Fitzpatrick appeared as the Rose Seller in the West End revival of the musical Oliver! [2] At the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, alongside Rowan Atkinson.
Fitzpatrick originated the role of ‘Louise’ in 2011 in Ghost the musical, directed once again by Matthew Warchus’ and produced by Colin Ingram.
In 2013 Fitzpatrick took the lead role in the musical Soul Sister playing Tina Turner, a musical featuring the music of Ike and Tina Turner. In 2014, Fitzpatrick starred in the musical Sister Act [3] as Deloris Van Cartier at Aberystwyth Arts Centre.
Fitzpatrick began working with the company Complicite, in 2014 performing in a workshop for the stage adaptation of Pink Floyd’s The Wall, working alongside Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters and directed by Simon McBurney.
Fitzpatrick has also worked on the musical ‘A Pacifist’s Guide to the War on Cancer’, a co-production between The National Theatre and Complicite taking the role of Dr Lacey in a run at the National Theatre in 2016. Fitzpatrick performed in the UK tour of ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’ playing the role of Muzzy Van Hossmere and Tina the Musical[4][5][6]
TV/ Film
In 2004 Fitzpatrick appeared in tv shows Silent Witness, Eastenders and MI High. In 2012 she played the character of Malevolent in the online comedy drama ‘The Bloody Mary Show’.
In 2011 Fitzpatrick wrote her first feature film, Payback Season, produced by Angry Badger and Pure Film Productions and distributed by Revolver.
Payback Season[7] was released nationwide in cinemas in 2012[8] Starring Adam Deacon, David Ajala, and Nichola Burley.[9]

Fitzpatrick can be heard as a vocalist and songwriter on ‘Coctel #5: Mujer y beats’ by Masseratti 2lts (2006); ‘Oliver! London Cast Recording’ (2009); ‘The Music’ by Blame (2011); ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’ by Elton John (2011) and ‘Ghost the Musical (Original Cast Recording)’ (2012).[10]
