Jennifer King graduated from Liberty University with a Master of Science in Sports Administration and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Guilford College. She played for the Guilford College women’s basketball and softball teams from 2002 to 2006.

Career[edit]

As a player[edit]

Jennifer King was a seven-time All-American quarterback for the Womenn’s Football Alliance with a record of 75-17. During King’s time with the Carolina Pheonix, 2006- 2017, they won an IWFL Championship, the Founders Bowl and Founders Bowl Tournament Championship. King then played for the New York Sharks, women tackle football team, and won the 2018 WFA National Championship. During her time with the Sharks, she played at the wide receiver position. Her most recent positions are wide receiver and safety for the D.C. Divas, 2019.

As a Coach[edit]

From 2006 to 20016, King was the assistant coach to the Greensboro College women’s basketball staff. The team won five conference titles and made it to the NCAA tournament five times. Then in 2016 King became the Head Coach for the Johnson & Wales University Charlotte women’s basketball team until 2018. The team won the USCAA Division II National Championship in 2018 during her tenure. King was given the USCAA Division II National Coach of the year award. King’s first football coaching experience came in during the women’s tackle football team offseason, she interned with the Carolina Panthers from 2018 and 2019 as wide receivers and running backs coach. King’s also worked as a special teams assistant for the Panthers. During her time with the panthers, King also worked as an assistant wide receiver coach and special teams assistant for the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football. In 2019 King worked as an offensive assistant at Dartmouth College.

After Ron Rivera’s termination from the Panthers and becoming The Washington Redskins Head Coach, he hired on King as a full-year coaching intern on his offensive staff for the 2020 to 2021 season. Along with Coach Randy Jordan, King will be working with running backs.
