Jenny Reeves is a British Labour Party party parliamentary candidate for Faversham and Mid Kent (UK Parliament constituency). She was born in Faversham, Kent.

Early life and career[edit]

Jenny Reeves was born and raised in Faversham.

Political career[edit]

Jenny was a political campaigner since her teenage years. She is actively involved in the campaign to prevent the closure of Faversham’s Crown Post Office, have led efforts to oppose the Cleve Hill solar park,[1] and support local environmental concerns such as the Save Our Tree campaign. She is also an ambassador for 50:50 Parliament, fighting for equal representation for women in politics.

Jenny's recent "Save our tree" campaign to stop cutting a cherry tree in Faversham has attracted close to 2000 supporters. In response, the Swale Borough Council has agreed not to cut the tree.[2][3]

Contribution to art[edit]

Jenny and her husband Gareth are the supporters of local art collective - Kalaimaiyam.[4]

Personal life[edit]

Jenny Reeves is married to Gareth Reeves. She met him in Faversham, and they have three children. Reeves serves as carer of her husband, who has disabilities.[5]
