Jules Jeptha "Jep" Robertson (born May 28, 1978) is an American TV personality, author, and businessman. He is best known for his lead role on the A&E reality series Duck Dynasty. He is the son of Phil and Kay Robertson.[1] Jep and his wife also starred in their own spinoff show Jep & Jessica: Growing the Dynasty, which ran for two seasons.[2]
Jep left Louisiana and now lives in Texas with his wife Jessica and their five children: Lily, Merritt, Priscilla, River, and Augustus. Jep and his wife currently run a food truck called Jep's Southern Roots.[3]
Childhood[edit]
Jep Robertson was born to Phil and Marsha "Kay" Robertson in Bernice, Louisiana. Jep faced some hardships in his younger years. He was often tortured by his older brothers Jase and Willie as he was growing up. As an adult, Jep into dodgeball, gaming, working out, and is often seen trying to "make his brothers pay" in Duck Dynasty. His relationship with his brothers as adults is much better and their competitive nature is more lighthearted than when they were kids.
Jep was the victim of sexual assault as a child. [4] Jep has spoken about it in interviews. "I was 6 and it was on a school bus and it was an older girl," he told ET.
Business with Duck Commander[edit]
With his brother Willie as the CEO of the business, Jep Robertson worked as a duck call assembler at Duck Commander. In the early Duck Commander years, Jep often filmed and edited the crew's hunting videos. [5] As the youngest Robertson brother, he is known for being the best with technology.
Duck Dynasty[edit]
Jep Robertson is one of the stars of A&E's reality show Duck Dynasty. He appears in the show from the beginning. In Season 4 he becomes one of the main interviewed stars with plots revolved around him. He works for his brother Willie Robertson in the duck call room alongside his brother Jase Robertson, his uncle Si Robertson, and friends John Godwin and Justin Martin. He is the favorite child of their mother, which often leads to Jase and Willie showing resentment towards him. Jep's interests on the show include working out, video games, fashion, and anything considered "cool." Jep is shown to be a huge fan-boy every time a well-known individual makes a guest appearance on the show.
