Jere Metcalf (born 30 July Nashville, Tennessee) is an American Luxury Real Estate Coach and Consultant.[1] Jere Metcalf is the founder of BreakthroughLuxury and Podcast Host named Top Real Estate Agents Tell How They Do It. She was awarded with Best Real Estate Agent in Jezebel's 2013 Best of Atlanta Awards. [2]

Jere Metcalf completed her BA degree in psychology from University of Georgia in 1998. She is also an ICF Certified Coach.[3]
Career[edit]
Jere Metcalf, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and raised in Moultrie, GA from a young age, discovered her passion for riding horses and developed a love for equestrian sports. Despite financial constraints, she pursued her passion by training horses and seeking opportunities to ride. This early exposure to different lifestyles, including those of affluent families involved in horsemanship, sparked Jere's interest in real estate.[4]
In her early twenties, Jere faced challenging circumstances as a result of a series of risky decisions. By the age of 26 in 2002, she found herself without a car, a limited wardrobe, and a lack of connections. However, this setback motivated Jere to obtain her real estate license and within two years, she became the top agent in a prominent Atlanta office.[5]
During the initial phase of her real estate career, Jere primarily focused on selling undeveloped land and participating in development projects. However, after the Great Recession of 2008-2009, she transitioned into the luxury real estate market. Jere gained recognition as a renowned top agent with Sotheby's International Realty, specializing in premier luxury sales in Buckhead and Historic Brookhaven, Atlanta. Notably, Jere distinguished herself through innovative marketing strategies, including the production of video shorts, referred to as "trailers," for her listings. She was among the pioneers in the United States to employ this approach and garnered attention from industry experts such as Matthew Ferrara, as well as media outlets like Curbed and Biznow.[6]
In 2016, Jere launched the "Top Real Estate Agents Tell How They Do It Podcast" (also known as the Jere Metcalf Podcast), featuring interviews with top-performing real estate professionals who consistently achieve sales exceeding $100,000,000 annually and rank within the top 100 agents in the United States. The podcast quickly gained worldwide recognition and established Jere as a prominent figure in the industry. In the same year, she was invited to join 'Sotheby's Market Leaders,' an exclusive mastermind group comprising 45 top real estate agents at Sotheby's International Realty.[7]
Throughout her career, Jere represented multimillion-dollar homes and small developments, many of which broke records for the highest home sale price or highest square foot price in their respective market sectors. In 2021, after a successful tenure as a Luxury Real Estate agent, Jere decided to retire from direct real estate sales to focus on coaching, consulting, and her newly launched venture, BreakthroughLuxury™. She continues to host her podcast, providing valuable resources and access to her coaching business and its clients.
