Jeremy's Razors is an American subsidiary company, parented by conservative media outlet The Daily Wire, that sells shaving equipment and personal care products online through a subscription service.[2]

The company was founded in March 2022 by Daily Wire CEO Jeremy Boreing, as the result of a feud between The Daily Wire and razor manufacturer Harry's in March 2021.[3] Their subscription service is currently accepting pre-orders, and is expected to begin shipping around Father's Day.[2]

History[edit]

Feud with Harry's[edit]

Harry's was a sponsor of The Daily Wire for many years before 2021, during which the hosts of their podcasts, such as Ben Shapiro, Andrew Klavan, and Michael J. Knowles, advertised their razors. However in March 2021, an anonymous Twitter complaint stating that Knowles was spreading homophobic messages, which resulted in Harry's tweeting that they were no longer going to sponsor The Daily Wire, due to "value misalignment."[4] Boreing responded stating "We know @harrys doesn’t share our values. Who cares? Economic decisions shouldn’t be political decisions. But now Harry’s has decided to declare that conservatives don’t deserve great razors." [5]

Founding[edit]

On March 16th, 2022, Ben Shapiro tweeted a picture of himself with a razor cut covered by a piece of toilet paper, stating that "HARRY'S drew first blood. Now it's our turn."[6] Then on March 22nd, 2022, The Daily Wire published a commercial for Jeremy's Razors, as a conservative alternative to Harry's, and other brands such as Gillette or Dollar Shave Club.[7] The commercial was very tongue in cheek, with Boreing declaring himself as the "god-king" of Daily Wire, and using flamethrowers to destroy Harry's and Gillette razors, all while inserting conservative talking points and jabs at Harry's. The commercial amassed millions of views within the first few days of it being published, and within its first week, 45,000 people preordered a subscription.

Jeremy Boreing promoted his razors on Tucker Carlson Tonight in March 2022.[8]

Products[edit]

A subscription to Jeremy's Razors includes a razor with six blades, green tea and menthol scented shaving cream and after shave, and a "socialism resistant" personal travel bag. The subscription can be delivered in either a two, three, or four month period between refills.[2]
