Jeremy R. Moss (born July 10, 1981) is an accomplished real estate developer, lawyer and lobbyist living in Jacksonville, Florida.
An emerging author and freelance historian, Jeremy’s research is focused on piracy and early colonial maritime history. Jeremy’s first book, a biography of "The Gentleman Pirate," Stede Bonnet (The Life and Tryals of the Gentleman Pirate, Major Stede Bonnet), was met with significant interest and praise. Jeremy's second book, Colonial Virginia's War Against Piracy: The Governor and the Buccaneer (The History Press) tells the story of Governor Francis Nicholson and buccaneer Louis Guittar.

Moss graduated from Virginia Tech in 2003 with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Sociology and completed his J.D. at Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C.
