Jeremy Robin Lyons
Jeremy Robin Lyons is an American music director, conductor, pianist, and arranger. He is known for his work across Broadway theatre, cabaret, and musical theatre.[1][2][3]
Early life and career
Lyons was born in Brooklyn, New York and earned a Master's degree in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) in 2020.[4][5] He served as the conductor and music director for the U.S. national tour of Anastasia (2021–2023).[6] Previously, he was Keyboard and substitute conductor for the national tour of The Sound of Music (2015–2017), including performances at the Kennedy Center.[7][8] Lyons was score supervisor and associate music director for the Off-Broadway production of The Mad Ones by Kerrigan and Lowdermilk.[9] He also participated in workshops and development labs for musicals such as The Bad Years, Republic, and Kill the Boy Band.[10][11]
His arrangements have been featured at Lincoln Center's American Songbook series and the 92nd Street Y's Lyrics & Lyricists series. He has served as music director and pianist for cabaret artists such as Tal Yardeni, Daniella Dalli, Adam Hill, and Shakina Nayfack, performing at venues like Joe's Pub and 54 Below. Lyons has also worked as a rehearsal pianist and singer with Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops.[12][13][14]
