Jeremy Robinson
Jeremy Robinson (born December 18th 1982), artistically known as ThaltOwlt and Kerm is an American hip-hop/rap artist, songwriter, producer and music engineer. ThaltOwlt was born in Columbus, Ohio.
ThaltOwlt came into the Columbus, Ohio hip-hop scene in 2003 under the stage name Kerm. He is a well rounded artist that writes, raps, produces, engineers and makes instrumentals. He was alongside of Del-Gato and Columbus' own Solo Souljah who helped guide the way. Several projects were release under his alias Kerm. In 2005, he released his first EP mixtape titled "That Sh!t Ya Like Mixtape Vol... 1". Less than a year later (2006), he followed up with a full length album titled "BRE. ENT. VOL. 1". During that time he was also heavily involved with Del-Gato's project "North Of Rap/South Of Pop", as well as Solo Souljah's "C.O. Soldiers On The Rise" under their wings, so to say. ThaltOwlt aka Kerm, continued to record several projects with other local artists, as well as his solo visions. In 2007, Kerm and Horse teamed up for “FreeVerseEpMixtape”. Kerm-N-Earfworm did what they do best in 2008 with disturbing originality on "Pissin' On The Mainstream". Kerm and Charley Whyte brought authentic hip-hop in 2009 with "The (614) Hip-Hop Project". In 2010, he worked again as a solo artist on "Growth Spurt". ThaltOwlt started crafting his fourth solo release "Self Evaluation" in 2011, having to deal with some life issues put that project to the back burner.
During 2016 and 2017 ThaltOwlt worked on production and the behind the board work with Solo Souljah and Columbus, Ohio's duo group, Multiveral. After some time away another full length album "Ambien Ambiance" was released in late 2017, under ThaltOwlt on all major digital platforms. A collaborative effort to be known as C.O.R.E. Product with Solo Souljah and Charley Whyte is now in the works and slated for a 2018 release.
