Jeremy Simpson

Simpson was born on May 13, 1975. [1]
Simpson began working as a referee with the North Lancashire and West Lancashire Football Leagues and the Contributory League Referees.
During Simpson's 2005/2006 season, he was promoted to the Professional Game Match Officials List as an assistant referee.
In 2007, Simpson served as Assistant Referee for the FA Vase Final at Wembley. After the match, Simpson was then promoted onto the Select Group 1 and FIFA International list as Assistant Referee for the following three seasons, 2007-2010. [2]
Simpson officiated in many Champions League, the UEFA Cup and International appointments, and served in the Premier League.
In 2010, Simpson focused on refereeing and was promoted onto the National Referee list in the 2012-2013 season after refereeing the Conference Play-Off Final at Wembley. The game was York City v. Luton Town in May 2012.
In total, Simpson has refereed in over 200 EEL games. Since 2026-2017 he has been a part of the Select Group 2 Referee list.
