Background[edit]

Spicer grew up on Skid Row, and had a rough childhood. He was found in a trashcan at age three and found himself going from homeless camps, to orphanages. Spicer went to eight different high schools as a kid, and unlike most professional athletes, he didn't go to a four-year college.Spicer went to Riverside Community College after high school; and was drafted into the Major League Football League, which collapsed before he got the chance to play. He signed with the Cape Cod Heroes in the American Arena League in 2018. As a rookie, he lead the league with 147 tackles. He earned a spot as a league all star after that season.[3]
