Jesslee is an American internationally touring pop/rock/country singer, songwriter, recording artist and producer living in Nashville, TN. She took part in Season 14 of the American singing talent show The Voice on NBC.[1]

Early Life[edit]

Jesslee, born Jessica Lee Colletti, a Florida native. Grew up in Loxahatchee and Stuart, FL.[2] . She was introduced to music at an early age by her grandparents, musicians Sal and Roger Rossi[3], and has been writing her own songs since she was 9 years old while winning numerous contests and awards at a young age including PTA Outstanding Interpretation Reflections Songwriter Award[4], Jensen Beach Pineapple Festival and performed in Suwannee River Fest as the Regional Winner of the Treasure Coast's Got Talent Search. She won the American Idol experience in Orlando and at age 16 was a top 20 finalist contestant for American Idol, when she auditioned while on vacation in Puerto Rico. Attending Murray Middle [5] and Martin County High School[6] in Stuart, FL. Jesslee attended college in Stuart about the same time she began body building. She won her very first competition in (Figure First place in her division, First place novice, and First place Overall Figure Champion). She went on to become nationally qualified.

Career[edit]

In 2015 she released an original five-track EP titled "Just a Kiss."[7] . Right away she was opening for acts LoCash and The Voice's own Cassadee Pope. In 2017 she released an original single, Burn[8]and music video[9]. In 2017 Burn was nominated for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) in the Country genre category[10]. Jesslee was invited to audition for and took part in Season 14 [11]of The Voice on NBC[12]. Jesslee continues to write, record, perform and now produces her own original songs as an independent artist. In 2017 "Burn" was featured as Track 3 on a compilation CD by Chasing Your Dream Radio. In 2018 she co-wrote "What You Don't Know" from her "Strong" album with BMI affiliated songwriter Westin Davis[Song writer 1] and Grammy Award nominated and ASCAP award-winning songwriter Clay Mills. Jesslee has since co-written music with many hit writers like "Wine Country Writers", Alex Pennington Smith[13] and Jason Afable[14]. She has co-written and self produced songs with top artists. The 2022 single release, Raised On It with co-writer and performer, Seth Anthony and co-writer Hosier, 2022 she released a single titled Chillbilly and music video with co-writer, Justin Champagne and co-performer, Ryan Robinette. Throughout Jesslee's music career she has continued to perform across the nation headlining at country music concerts and festivals and also sharing the main stages opening for acts Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, Wynona Judd and the Big Noise, Uncle Kracker, RaeLynn, Big Smo, Joe Nichols, Thompson Square, Parmalee, Trent Tomlinson, Josh Gracin, Restless Heart, Clare Dunn, Love and Theft, and Craig Cambell and so many more.

The Voice[edit]

In 2018, Jesslee auditioned for Season 14[15] of the American singing talent show The Voice on NBC.[16] In episode 4 broadcast on March 6, 2018, she performed "I'm with You"[17]. Both Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton turned their chairs and fought over Jesslee.[18] Ultimately she chose to be part of Blake Shelton's ″Team Blake″.[19][20] On March 19 she was eliminated in her Battle Round against Team Blake teammate Kyla Jade.
