Jessica Darrow (born January 7, 1995)[1] is a Cuban-American actress and singer best known for voicing the character Luisa Madrigal in Disney's Encanto.
Early life[edit]
Darrow was born in Miami, Florida, and raised by her Cuban parents. She studied theater at Shakespeare's Globe Theater in London for five months. She graduated from Rutgers University w/ a BFA in acting and currently resides in New York City.
Career[edit]
She rose to fame acting in the Disney animated feature film Encanto as the voice of Luisa Madrigal. The song Surface Pressure became a popular song on the charts.[2][3][4]
