Jessica Oreck
Jessica Oreck is a Russian film director, screenwriter, producer and visual artist. For most of her career, Oreck has created nature documentary films through her production company Myriadpod Productions.[1][2]
Oreck made her narrative debut with One Man Dies a Million Deaths (2019). The film was initially released at the SXSW, but further distribution was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film will re-release on July 29, 2022 at the IFC Center before expanding to other theaters.[3][4]
Oreck has also created In a Moment of Vision..., a series of animated documentary shorts produced for TED-Ed that relates the "history of common objects."[5][6] Oreck also founded the Office of Collecting and Designing in Las Vegas, which serves as an archive and exhibition of Oreck's work. [7]
