Jessica Elizabeth Smith (born 2 December 1995) is an English voice actress who became famous for playing the baby-faced Sun in the television show The Teletubbies between 1997 and 2001.
In 1996, at nine months old, she was chosen to play the part of the Sun, who shines brightly and watches over Teletubbyland during almost every episode of the TV show Teletubbies, which premiered in March 1997. In December 2014, it was confirmed that Jessica was indeed the Sun after she revealed this secret to her friends.[1]
