JetBlue Foundation (stylized as: jetBlue foundation) is a Nonprofit organization created by JetBlue Airways operated out of their Long Island City Headquarters. The purpose of the foundation it to expand the knowledge of youth within the aviation-related education and with collaboration with the STEM initiatives.
Programs[edit]
JetBlue Foundation supports non-profit organizations and qualified educational organizations.[1] They must provide or support education and/or certification in one or more of the following areas of study:
- Aviation Technology
- Aviation Engineering
- Aviation Operations
- Aviation Maintenance
- Sustainable and Environmental Programs in Aviation
- STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Also focusing on under-represented in Aviation which includes including:
- Veterans
- Women
- Economically disadvantaged communities
- Under-represented ethnic groups (including but not limited to African-American, Latino or Asian-American communities).
