Jetullah Qarri

Jetullah Qarri, also known as Komandant Guri, was a prominent figure in the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) ¹. He was a commander of the 60th Brigade of the KLA and was known for his actions in the Neredimës and Pashtrikut regions ¹. Qarri was one of the most emblematic fighters of the KLA ¹. He passed away on March 13, 2018, after a long illness.

Qarri was a key player in the Battle of Slupčane, which was a military engagement between the Macedonian security forces and Albanian insurgents belonging to the National Liberation Army (NLA) ². The NLA was victorious, in part due to the withdrawal of Macedonian forces ². Qarri was one of the commanders of the NLA during this battle.
