Jhang Polytechnic Institute (JPI) was founded in 1998 for technical education in Jhang District. It is owned by Engineer Kashif Tauqeer. The institute offers 3 Years Diploma of Associate Engineering. At first, three technologies were introduced: electrics, electronics, and computing. In 2009, JPI started the Benazir Income Support Program and provided employment to the desperate and forced women of the Jhang district. In 2014, JPI entered the field of IT, initially only
