Jia Sung

Jia Sung is an artist and teacher born in America but raised in Singapore. She currently lives in New York.

Jia Sung has taught at many different places like the Children’s Museum of the Arts, AC Institute, Abrons Arts Center and has taught at RISD. She has showcased her work at yale university, MOMA PS1,and the Lincoln center.[1] Jia Sungs Art is based on Chinese myths called Zhiguai.

In 2021, Sung painted a mural in Industry City, Brooklyn as part of the "Home Is Inside You" show.[2]

In March, 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City, A+A+A design studio partnered with Think!Chinatown and Assembly for Chinatown to commission artists including Sung to paint outdoor dining sheds in Chinatown.[3]
