Early Life

Jim DeWind grew up in Lomersheim, a part of Mühlacker. He visited the Wendler Elementary School from 2006 to 2010, the Mörike High School from 2010 to 2016, and the Georg Kerschensteiner College from 2016 to 2019, graduating with the Abitur.[1]

Between 2007 and 2010 he was a member of the school choir and performed in different school stage plays.[2][3]

In 2021 an excerpt of his first feature film screenplay Magnet Man premiered at the Wildsound Film Festival.[4][5]

Languages

Jim DeWind has a particular interest in languages as he stated in an interview with Matthew Toffolo in 2021.[6] He is fluent in German and English, has intermediate knowledge of Spanish and Norwegian, and he admits to having some basic understanding of Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian and French.
