James Douglas Morrison Jr (July 22, 1970) is an American poet, singer, songwriter, author and actor. Morrison is on IMDb and a Tv guide.[1][2] He appeared on The Howard Stern Show March 21, 2002.[2][3] He was titled by Stern as being the biggest pain in the ass in the history of the show. He is the biological child of Janis Joplin & Jim Morrison.[4][5][6] His birth mother is Karen Helenski Krajnik of Swedeland Pennsylvania she was a belly dancer. He is the vocalist and primary lyricist for The Doors new recordings.[7] His poetic lyrics and his raspy, raunchy voice is that of his father's Jim Morrison.[8]

His Grandparents are Clara Virginia (née Clarke; 1919–2005) and Lt.(j.g.) George Stephen Morrison (1919–2008), later a rear admiral in the United States Navy. His ancestors were Irish, Scottish and English. In August 1964, Admiral Morrison commanding U.S. naval forces during the Gulf of Tonkin Incident. Jim Morrison Jr is also a U.S. Navy Combat Veteran serving on LPD-12 / USS Shreveport, (1989-1991). Although he did serve his U.S. Navy time under one of his adopted names Paul Francis Floyd. Morrison attended and graduated from Upper Merion High School in June (1988) in King Of Prussia Pennsylvania. He immediately entered into the U.S. Navy and studied at Navy, Damage Control "A" School in San Francisco, California.

Collaborating with legendary guitarist and one of his dad's band mates Robby Krieger Jim Morrison Jr has reached a milestone in music history by recording and releasing the first authentic Doors song unfortunately minus John Densmore to include a blood related Morrison since the death of his father in (1971). Morrison and Kriegers new song Find Me A Women was released in (2024). The song features Robby Kriegers legendary slide guitar solos and riffs through the entire four to five minute track. The two have since written two more Doors songs together that are not yet complete musically to include The Doors John Densmore on the drums. On July 10, 1976 Morrison's stepdad Paul Petercz sufficated while scuba diving in an effort to recover a young child's body that had been reported missing and was suspected to had drowned while swimming in the resevoir at Muddy Run Dam in Lancaster Pennsylvania. Within two weeks after the death of his stepdad his mother had moved him and his half sister into a new home in Collegeville Pennsylvania on 5 acres of land. Jim Morrison Jr remembers moving in and riding his skateboard in the basement that's about all because his mother Karen Helenski had met a new man and immediately moved the family once again to Bridgeport, West Virginia.
