Jinavani is a mobile application that converts the modern tamil script into ancient scripts used to write tamil, namely Tamil Brahmi and Vatteluttu. [2][3] This application is available for Android Operating System. This application contains tools to learn these ancient scripts, such as flip cards and memorizing tools. Moreover, users can read tamil texts namely Thirukkural and Tholkappiyam written in both Tamil Brahmi and vatteluttu scripts. The author has released the source code of the software under the GNU AGPL license.[2]
