Jiro Abe (次男 阿部 Abe Jiro, born 1978) is a Japanese minimalist artist best known for his nature abstract paintings, influenced by the Surrealism movements. He lives in Kyoto, the Kansai region, Japan after attending the Kanazawa College of Art from 1997 to 1999. His work is mainly focused with the emotions of society through of time and space, especially within the context of Buddhist thought.
