Jishnu Laxman is an Indian Film Producer, CEO and Founder of 16 Frames Motion Pictures and Whitepaper PR, two Dubai based companies with their branches in Kochi. He is also the PR Marketing Manager at Digital Turbo Media, one of the most prominent VFX companies in south India, and the managing partner of Chalachithram Studios, a leading film post production firms in Kerala. A journalism graduate, Jishnu began his career in television where he worked for ten years. He worked on several multi-language programs including Super Dancer Junior (Amrita TV)as well as reality and fictional programs with Mumbai-Hyderabad based TV Productions such as Big Boss and Malayalee House. He was the former program designer at India’s leading media company, Sun TV Network on events like the SIIMA awards, IIFA awards, Sun Kudumbam Awards, Sabarimala live, Star Cricket live, CCL, CBL etc. He was also the Broadcast and Channel-in Charge of Kiran TV. During his work in PR as an Image Manager, his campaigns for PepsiCo, CIAL launch of blackberry in Kerala were lauded by many. He has also assisted in a few films early in his career and is working towards his dream of making a movie. He is an avid traveller, foodie and bookworm.

Early life[edit]

Jishnu Laxman was born in Payyanoor,Kerala in 1991. His father name is lakshmanan and mothers name is Saraswathi.His schooling completed from St. mary,s high school, Cherupuzha and completed Journalism & Visual Media at Mar Ivanios College.

Passion[edit]

Cinema has been his passion since school. It was his love for cinema that promote he to choose mass communication as his subject for his graduation course even though he studied science in higher secondary class. His graduation period in Mar Ivanios College Thiruvanthapurma published the cin- concept and it was that period that helped him understand more about this industry. Thiruvanthapuram become his second home. International film festival of kerala literary meets, film socities and similar activities in the capital city helped him to know more about cinema along with his gurus.

Love for literature and Cartoon[edit]

These two elements in his life have become the factor which forced him to deliver into creative field instead of an office job. The fiction works,especially short stories in Malayalam which he had read during his school time had influenced a lot.It is the cartoons of R.K Laxman which forced him to try his hand in the field.

Watching movies and reading are his main hobbies. He I still considerd as a film student who is eager to understand more about this visual art. He do not categories film as classic ,commercial or off beat. He like to watch all kind of films, because every project become real only after much effort. He thinks evey film can give you atleast a single lesson.Though he cannot classify travelling as his hobby.He like to travel a lot I do that whenever he get time.
