Joan H. Wolf

Joan Hubbard Wolf ( September 3rd, 1929- August 7th, 2012) was a American farmer, teacher, businesswomen, and developer.

Wolf was born on August 7th, 1929 in Mount Pulaski, Illinois to parents George Hubbard and Leonore Anges Mullady. She went to Sacred Heart In Chicago and graduated from Northwestern University. At the age of 26, she married to Raymond Wolf in 1955. In the mid 1970's Wolf purchased a dairy farm in Decatur, Illinois and developed it into a residential subdivision ( Wolf Road). She taught school in Macon County and was a farmer. She served on the Board of Trustees for Richland Community College from 1975 to 1991.[1] Wolf was a founding member of Lady Landowners of Macon County serving as president from 1988-1990.[2][3] She was a resident of Decatur, Illinois until her death on August 7th, 2012 at the age of 82.[4]
