Joanna Modes is European model, actress and philanthropist. She was born on May 21, 1985, in Szczecin, Poland. She gained attention as the girlfriend of Formula One driver Robert Kubica.[1][2] She is the Founder of the Modes Art Gallery Foundation.[3] She is also widely recognized for initiating the international "Save the World" charity campaign in collaboration with major European banking institutions.
Early Life and Education
Joanna Modes is the first daughter of Robert Bagration-Mukhraneli and Wioleta von Tiele-Winckler. She has a younger sister named Viktoria Magdalena.[4] Her family has Georgian, Italian, Polish, and German ancestry, and they follow different faiths.[5][6]
Modes graduated from Marymount High School in Los Angeles, California, in 2004. She then pursued her education at the Poznan Academy of Performing Arts (PAPA).[7] She completed a TV Presenting course at the Polish National TV Academy (TVP). [8] [9] She later took a management course at the London Business School.[10][11]
Career
Modes started her career by modeling at charity events and making appearances in movies, theaters, and commercials.[12][13] In 2006, she interned for a political party in Georgia. Her involvement in politics caused issues with her family.[citation needed] This led to her being legally disinherited in September 2008. She changed her name to Joanna Modes.[14][15]
She volunteered to support charities during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019.[16] In 2022, she founded the Modes Art Gallery Foundation, providing grants to lifesaving charities.
Personal Life
In 2009, Joanna Modes sued her family for emotional abuse and reached an out-of-court settlement. She changed her name to Joanna Modes. In 2004, she gained attention for her relationship with footballer Chris Long.[17][18] She later met F1 driver Robert Kubica, became friends, started dating in 2012, and reunited in 2017.[19]
