Jochen Arbeit is a German musician. He began his musical career in 1980 following a move to Berlin, when he became active in “Geniale Dilettanen”,[1] a music movement that arose out of earlier German punk subcultures. He joined German post-punk band Die Haut in 1983, conducted international tours with the group, and played on albums that that the group would record in the United States. He would later join other musical groups such as Automat,[2] playing music as a part of Richard Ruin et Les Demoniaques[3] and becoming a member of Einstürzende Neubauten in 1997.[4][5]
