Joe Burgess is the former Mayor of Cedar City, Utah.
Early life[edit]
Born in St. George, Utah, Burgess attended Dixie High School (Utah)
Business[edit]
Burgess owned a local plumbing business and became heavily involved in the construction industry. Over the years Burgess found success in many areas of business, from construction to hospitality.
Politics[edit]
Burgess was a member of the City Council from 2002 to 2006. He is currently the Mayor of Cedar City, Utah. Joe Burgess was elected mayor of Cedar City in November, 2009, for a four-year term which began in January, 2010.[1]
