Controversy[edit]

The medias reaction to the film Duck! The Carbine High Massacre was overall negative, it was too soon to most people since the Columbine High School Massacre was only a few months prior.[3] The movie landed Joey Smack and Co-creator William Hellfire in jail due to the fact they brought guns onto school property for a shot in the parking lot and in front of the school. The money made from the film helped pay their legal fees. Hellfires girlfriend at the time Erin Brown who played "Bible Girl" in the film bailed them out and said its "no big deal".[4]
