John "Red" Kelly (February 1820 - 27 December 1866) was the father of Ned Kelly and Dan Kelly, both part of the Kelly Gang, he was baptised on 20 February 1820 in Moyglass, Ireland
In 1864, John Kelly stole a calf and was sent to gaol for six months, he died in 1866
