John Lombardy Beckham is a filmmaker and musician from Prince George's County, Maryland.

He is the creator, co-director and a producer for the SHOWTIME Sports documentary Basketball County: In the Water, about his Maryland home and why it has become the most prominent area for the sport.[1][2][3]

He is the director, a writer and producer for The Diabetes Solution, produced by the Revere foundation and distributed by Passion River Films.[4][5] The documentary illustrates how dietary changes and insulin strategies can make a significant difference in patients’ lives.

He has also produced various short films,[6] various music projects[7] including the debut from Washington D.C. neo-soul band "lowercase letters,"[8][9] the Glorification of Gangster Mixtape[10]and "Low-Rider Trans Am" , a mash-up of west coast rappers and the indie-rock band Trans Am.[11]
