John Breslow is an American businessman and the current nominee to be U.S. Ambassador to Cyprus.[1]
Breslow is originally from Nebraska. He started his career in the industrial gas and welding supply business.[2] From 1991 to 1999, Breslow served two terms as Nebraska state auditor.[3] In 1998, he ran for Governor of Nebraska.[4]
Breslow is a longtime Republican donor and major Trump supporter.[5][6]
The Senate officially received Breslow's nomination in October 2025.[7]
