John Climax
John Climax (born 12 November 1952) is co-founder of the world leading clinical research organisation, Icon Pharmaceuticals in Dublin, Ireland in 1990. In 2009 he retired as chairman but he is still a board member.[1][2] Dr John Climax also co-founded Afimmune, a biotech specialising in metabolic diseases and DS Biopharma, a dermatology biotech.[3] Dr Climax established the Human Dignity Foundation in 2004 to protect and promote children’s rights.[4]
Education
Dr Climax received a Bachelor of Science degree (Pharmacy) in 1977 from the University of Singapore.[5]
Dr John Climax attended University College Dublin, graduating with a PhD in Pharmacology in 1982.
In 2012 he was conferred a Doctorate in Science by Trinity College Dublin.[6]
