John Guerrier De’Bey (born April 22, 1987), better known by his sir name Mr.De’Bey is an American Record Producer and Entrepreneur, who is known for his marketing and promotion of Island Def Jam recording artists. He is recently noted for signing The Voice (U.S. season 5) Matthew Schuler & Brandon Chase to After Eden Records.
Career[edit]
De’Beys career started in marketing at Universal Music Group subsidiary record label Island Def Jam back in 2004 – 2008. De’Bey is currently the VP and COO of After Eden Records located in Santa Monica, Calif. a recording label founded by himself, Jaco Booyens, Kara Jenkins and Shotta Bwoy. Their roster consists of artists from NBC’s The Voice such as Matthew Schuler, Brandon Chase and Sylfronia King.
