John Layke D.O., F.A.C.S. is an American plastic surgeon who specializes in facial and rhinoplasty.[1][2]

Career[edit]

Layke is a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and The Rhinoplasty Society. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.[3][4][5] Layke and Payman Danielpour together they collaborated on several research papers and, in 2009, they opened a practice called Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group. Three years later, they founded a company called Beverly Hills MD that offers anti-aging pharmaceuticals.[6][7] Together they also developed single incision process the SIMM or Single-Incision Mommy Makeover that combines breast augmentation with an abdominoplasty.[3][6]

Layke is on the Advisory Board of Neodyne, a company associated with Stanford University that is known for its cutting-edge scar therapy. He is also on the Advisory Board of Skineez, a company that makes “wearable skincare” or clothes infused with skin care medications like moisturizers.[8][9][10]

Layke earned a bachelor's degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He then attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.[11]
