John Moorhead (born March 7, 1989) is a professional american football placekicker and punter who is currently a free agent.

Moorhead played college football for the George Mason Patriots.
Professional football[edit]
Central Penn Capitals[edit]
Moorhead signed as a free agent with the Central Penn Capitals on February 15, 2013.[1] Moorhead made his debut with Central Penn Capitals against the Harrisburg Stampede on April 13, 2013. Moorhead made two extra points. [2] Moorhead was released by the Capitals on May 21, 2013 after a poor performance against the Cape Fear Heroes
Atlanta Sharks[edit]
Moorhead signed with the Atlanta Sharks on April 10, 2014.
Central Penn Capitals[edit]
On April 4, 2015 Moorhead re-signed with the Capitals for the 2015 American Indoor Football Season
United States National Team[edit]
On May 31, 2017 Moorhead was named the USFAF National Team for the 2017 World Games in Wroclaw. On July 24, 2017 Moorhead won a bronze medal in American football at the 2017 World Games – Men's tournament after defeating Poland 14-7.[3]
