John Paul Lagumbay
John Paul Cansino Lagumbay (born on April 22, 1980, Quezon City, Philippines) or known as JP Lagumbay. JP is a loving father to Zofia, Asher, Elisha, and Seth. He is also a supportive, loyal, God-fearing husband to Zen Lagumbay. JP is one of the twin sons of Former Councilor Eufemio "Pinggoy" Lagumbay of Quezon City. He is a Filipino actor, dancer, and a model. JP, together with his twin brother JM (John Michael Lagumbay), was launched as individual artists of ABS-CBN Star Magic with the launch of Star Circle Batch 9. JP and JM guest starred in various shows on ABS-CBN such as MTB, Maalaala Mo Kaya, Wansapanatym. The twins were also cast as regulars of Pangako Sa'yo, Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan, and Keep on Dancing. JP left show business in 2004 and focused on school.
He graduated with a degree of Bachelor in Early Childhood specializing in Montessori Method in Operation Brotherhood Montessori Center, Inc. (OBMCI) last March 2006. He was then hired by Philippine Airlines as a cabin crew in June 2006. He flew domestic routes for 2 years and was upgraded to international flights in 2008. On September 2009, JP and JM were finally cast to be part of Pinoy Big Brother (Double Up) Season 3 as a Double Up Housemate, together with another pair of twins, Kenny and Toffi Santos. JP voluntarily exited because he was called to work on the 3rd day. He found out later that day he was granted the leave he requested.
Today, JP has left the airline industry and pursued entrepreneurship together with his wife, helping families transition from employment to business, one family at a time.
