John Percy is the former leader of the Green Party of Nova Scotia.[1][2] His political involvement started in high school as a volunteer for the Liberals. In the past he also volunteered for Joe Clark's federal campaign.[1] He was a candidate for Member of Parliament in Sackville—Eastern Shore in the 2011 Canadian federal election.[2] He also ran in the 2009 Nova Scotia provincial election in Richmond and a 2010 provincial by-election in Yarmouth.[2] He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Toronto.[2]
