John Pounds Centre
The John Pounds Centre is a community centre located in Portsmouth.[1] The centre opened in 2006 and was named after John Pounds, encouraging local residents to lead "a happier and healthier lifestyle, whether through learning, physical, or social activities."

In 2017, the Varsity Cup was held between the University of Portsmouth and the University of Southampton in Gymnastics and Table Tennis.[2]
The centre has also hosted university tournaments in Trampolining and Basketball and club tournaments in 5-a-side.
The centre is located on the course of the Great South Run and has been used as a drinks station in the past.
