John Rampton is an American entrepreneur, author and contributing writer for Forbes, Entrepreneur.com, Inc., and The Huffington Post.[1] He is best known for being the editor-at-large of Search Engine Journal and founder of Pixloo, PPC.org and Blogging.org. He is currently the founder and VP Marketing of Adogy.[2] He also teaches Entrepreneurship at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Early Life and Career[edit]

Rampton started Pixloo in 2010.[3] Pixloo was a company that helped people sell their homes with free virtual tours. The team developed the company in nine months.[4] After launching it acquired over 80,000 customers in 42 days and was acquired by a large private real estate company.

Rampton is also the author of the book Performance Marketing for Professionals with his co-author Murray Newlands.[5]

Rampton is an active investor in Silicon Valley. He helped launch Founder Space, an incubator in Silicon Valley that has invested in and helped hundreds of startups in San Francisco.[6] He has also invested in SERPs, SEO Engine, The Influential Network and several other companies.[7]
