History & Philosophy[edit]
Ace Tone Productions was founded by Matt Terribile Terribile created the company under the simple philosophy that every musician, no matter their budget, should get to see their creation come to fruition. Matt spent his high school and college years working with different bands and writing music. The constant strain was always getting enough money together to get the album out. Recording studios would charge upwards of $100 per hour to track and mix the songs, meaning an album of 10 songs could easily surpass $10,000. It was during the summer before Matt graduated with his degree in Music and Sound Recording from the University of New Haven when everything finally clicked. Putting together a great sounding record didn’t need to cost $10,000. Terribile believed there was a better business model.
Experiences[edit]
Since its formation, Ace Tone Productions has refined their methods over the past 5 years working with artists on many different projects. The studio is known to tailor each experience to the musician, in hopes of working to find the best possible workflow to help artists feel comfortable and productive. Sessions typically begin with a pre-production meeting to map out the project. From there, sessions begin tracking. Terribile has a vast list of studio musicians to call if needed needed. The studio also provides mixing and mastering services for artists.
In 2017, Terribile and crew moved to their a new location in Bethany, CT. The studio still resides there and provides a comfortable, quiet space for artists to record their music. The studio has also launched our recording packages, which have helped many musicians bring their music to life at very affordable rates.
