John Warren (born April 14, 1952) is an American screenwriter and director. He has written, directed, and produced for film and television, including Naked in New York produced by Martin Scorsese.[1] He is currently a professor at New York University Tisch School of the Arts and Young Screenwriters.[2]
In 2020, Warren created Young Screenwriters, an online education-focused community for screenwriters.[3] During the COVID-19 pandemic, he offered his first course, "Writing the Short," to the general public for free.[4] The announcement was one of the most trafficked articles of all time on No Film School.[5]
