An encyclopedia entry on the subject written by Lindsley Armstrong Smith and Stephen A. Smith

of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville is a great source! There is no policy that states interviews can't be cited. in this case the interview is part of a collection documenting the views and experiences of Arkansas' political leaders so it also is useful and helps establish notability. But as the reviewer notes state level politicians are considered notable on Wikipedia so this is all jist a distraction. The subject is notable and we have two quality sources for them. Resubmitted.
