John Jenkins Martinez III (born January 23, 1998), known professionally as Johnny Montilla, is an American recording artist, songwriter, producer, and entertainer. He is best known for his singles "I Know" and "Is This What You Wanted?", as well as for his meme pages on social media.[1] Johnny Montilla's cult fanbase is known as "Godzilla Gang".

Career[edit]

In March 2019, Montilla uploaded his first song to SoundCloud: "Roses Placed on Her Grave"[2], which broke over 100,000 streams within the first month, which reached SoundCloud's New and Hot charts. January 15, 2020, he released his first official single, "Sacrifice". In 2021, Johnny Montilla began growing at a rapid rate on Snapchat and gained a Snap Star for his contribution to the platform. Later in 2021, Montilla released his now fan favorite song, "I Know". In November 2021, Montilla lost his Snap Star on Snapchat for unknown reasons. After this event took place, Montilla took an announced break from social media for over half a year. In July 2022, Johnny Montilla reached 100k subscribers on YouTube.
