Jon Claytor

Jon Claytor (b. 1972) is an American-born Canadian visual artist[1][2][3][4], filmmaker and designer. He is the co-founder of Sappy Records[5] (with Julie Doiron), Sappyfest and Thunder and Lightning Ideas Ltd. (with Paul Henderson). He has taught at Mount Allison University[6]. He studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and Mount Allison University and received his Masters of Fine Arts from York University in 2012.

He has exhibited his painting and his films have screened throughout Canada since 1993 and has received numerous grants and awards[7][8]
