Jon Komp Shin
is an American actor. He is best known for his national and global commercial and print work which include campaigns for Toyota (Camry 2015 Super Bowl).[1][2][3][4] , Kia [5][6][7] (Optima, Sorento, Sportage, & Forte), Domino's Pizza [8][9][10][11] ,Intel [12][13], Hewlett-Packard [14][15], TBS Tuner Broadcasting & Microsoft [16] Uber [17][18], Fitbit [19][20], Loreal [21] , Heinekin [22][23], A&T DirectTV [24][25], Houzz [26], Bonobos [27], Kimberly-Clark (Depend) [28][29][30][31], USDOT National Highway Traffic Safety Administration [32][33] and The Roman Catholic Archdiocese.
Komp Shin plays the role of Specialist Recon in Activision's 2018 Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 [34][35][36][37]. He has played James Mun[38][39] in Electronic Arts Battlefield Hardline [40]. He was Lee Byung-hun's double as T-1000 in Terminator Genisys [41]
He is a former Pro TapouT Athlete and can be seen in TapouT XT2 [42] training alongside the world's top MMA fighters.
Komp Shin is a former regular cast of Funny or Die Productions[43][44][45][46]
On July 17, 2015, Jon Komp Shin was named one of the Top 10 Ultimate Men's Health Guys by Men's Health Magazine[47]
Early life[edit]
Komp Shin was born in Seoul, South Korea, orphaned as a baby by his biological family, and adopted as a toddler by the Pinkerton Family (Allen Pinkerton) via Holt International Children's Services following his adopted father's service in the Peace Corps in Seoul, Korea. His adopted father was a health care executive, conservationist, environmental commissioner and appointed state official. His adopted mother was a fine art's professor, award winning international artist-author and a commissioner of fine arts. Komp Shin grew up in the Midwest and California. He was educated in Biology, Emergency medicine, Prehospital emergency care, Government-Military-Privatized Security, and Fire protection.
Career[edit]
Komp Shin was discovered as a actor and model while a Firefighter Lieutenant in San Francisco-Bay Area. At that time he was also employed as a Government Security Contractor and Private Military Contractor specializing in VBSS, Maratime Security, Fire protection and Emergency medical services.
