Jon Skeet is a software engineer known for having the highest reputation on question-and-answer website Stack Overflow.[3]

Stack Overflow[edit]

Skeet joined Stack Overflow in September 2008[4] after reading about it in a blog post.[5] Skeet became the highest-reputation user on the site by December,[2] and reached one million reputation in early 2018.[6] His tenure has made him well-known on the site.[7][2]

Career[edit]

Skeet works at Google,[1][8] primarily in C#.[9]

Skeet has written several books, notably C# in Depth,[10] and is the author of the Noda Time C# API.[11] Skeet served on the board of directors of the .NET Foundation from 2019 to 2020.[12][13]

Personal Life[edit]

Skeet is a Methodist preacher who is married with three children.[2] Skeet maintains a blog.[14]
