Jon Xue Zhang is an actor, martial artist, writer and musician from Oxford, England.

Biography[edit]

Jon Xue Zhang is an Oxford-based actor, stunt performer, martial artist, writer and musician. Xue Zhang has worked on multiple films including Hobbs and Shaw, The Gentlemen and The Eternals to name a few in addition to TV shows such as the Brit Awards. He is best known for his appearances on ITV's Take Me Out as well as his collaborations with Master Wong. He is the lead for War Dogs Graphic Novel by Pete Hernandez III.

Jon Xue Zhang has worked in further and higher education sectors at City of Oxford College and SAE Institute in pastoral and academic support in addition to lecturing on a variety of topics such as business studies, IT, psychology, physical education, film studies, performing arts and public services.

He was a speaker at Oxford's first Virtual Reality conference.

In 2022, Jon was cast for an upcoming Netflix production, The Brothers Sun, starring Michelle Yeoh.

Martial Arts[edit]

Jon Xue Zhang began training in 1993 where he trained in multiple disciplines from Kung Fu, Karate, Aikido, Jujitsu, Hapkido, Silat and Arnis. He trained for many years under an SAS Instructor and currently teaches seminars and workshops to martial artists, actors, members of the armed forces and law enforcement and security operatives around the UK whilst working as a stunt performer and fight choreographer. Jon was formerly the psychologist to the Saudi Arabian National TaeKwonDo team, the Saudi Falcons. He is also the author of The Martial Heart.
